Commercial Pest Control
Pest control for Southwest Florida businesses, farms and ranches
Bug Off Pest covers both sides of that across Charlotte, Sarasota, Lee and DeSoto counties. Traditional commercial properties on one side, and agricultural work most pest companies in this region are not equipped for on the other: barn and stable fly control, livestock and equine programs, and pasture fire ant treatment. Free site assessment either way, with a written scope and a price before anything is scheduled.

What commercial accounts get that residential does not
Written documentation every visit
A service report covering what was found, what was treated and what needs addressing on your side. Health inspectors and auditors ask for it, and so do insurers.
Scheduling built around your operation
Before opening, after closing, between guest turnovers, around feeding. We work to your constraints rather than to our route.
A program, not a repeated treatment
If pressure changes or something stops working, we adjust the approach. A commercial account that gets the same treatment every visit regardless of results is not being managed.
Certified Food Safety Manager on staff
Credentialed through the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals. It means we understand what a health inspection is actually looking for in a kitchen, not just how to treat it.
Licensed, insured, and documented
FDACS licensed with full liability and workers' compensation coverage. Certificates of insurance provided on request for property managers and landlords.
How commercial service works
Every account starts with a site assessment, because a restaurant, a warehouse and a horse barn need three genuinely different programs.
- FDACS-licensed and fully insured
- Written service documentation on every visit
Site Assessment
A licensed technician walks the property, identifies pest pressure and the conditions supporting it, and reviews your compliance requirements, operating hours and access constraints. Free, and it ends with a written scope and a price.
Program & Schedule
We build the service around your operation: the right frequency for the property rather than a default, at times that do not interrupt trading, feeding or turnover.
Service & Documentation
Scheduled service with a written report after every visit, so you have a record for inspections, audits, insurers or your own management. Where conditions on site are driving the problem, we tell you, because treatment alone will not hold against a structural or housekeeping issue.

Commercial pest control questions
Every commercial account starts with a free site assessment and a written scope, so you know what you are buying before anything is scheduled.
Do you provide service documentation for health inspections?
Yes. Every visit produces a written report covering what was found, what was treated and any conditions that need addressing on your side. Food service and storage accounts need that record available, and inspectors ask for it.
Can you service outside business hours?
Usually, yes. Restaurants, retail and medical practices generally need service before opening or after closing, and we schedule around your operation. Tell us your constraints at the site assessment and we will build the program around them.
Do you work with restaurants and commercial kitchens?
Yes, and we hold a Certified Food Safety Manager credential through the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals. Commercial kitchens need a different approach from residential work, particularly on German cockroaches, which harbour inside equipment housings and voids rather than out in the open.
Do you treat farms, ranches and horse properties?
Yes, and it is core work for us rather than something we occasionally take on. Barn and stable fly control, misting installation, livestock and equine programs, and pasture fire ant treatment across DeSoto, Charlotte and eastern Lee counties. Products and methods are selected with animals, feed and water sources in mind.
Can you provide a certificate of insurance?
Yes. Bug Off Pest is licensed by the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services and carries full liability and workers’ compensation coverage. Property managers, landlords and facility owners can request a certificate and we will provide it.
