PANTRY PESTS AND BEETLES
You may have noticed that there are some beetles crawling around your house. These are known as pantry pests and they are attracted to the food you have in your pantry. A lot of people refer to these beetles as fruit flies, but they are actually more closely related to the flour beetle. The flour beetle is a common pantry pest because it feeds on grain products.
If you don’t want to deal with any of the problems these bugs cause, you might want to start by clearing out your pantry. That’s where most of them live. If you don’t want them spreading into other areas of your house, make sure you do a thorough cleanup after they’re gone. Make sure you clean the inside walls of the cabinets with a mild liquid soap and water solution. When you’re done, make sure everything is dry so that mold doesn’t have anywhere to grow.

Facts about the Beetle
No one No one knows exactly how many types of beetles there are. There are only about 60 types that attack food items, but tens of thousands exist in the world. These insects get their name from the way they appear when you see them. When you look at a beetle from the front, it appears like it has wings and two large eyes. If you look at it from above, you can see what looks like a shell.
Many people are afraid of these beetles because they are known for spreading disease. They carry bacteria and other germs on their bodies that could make humans sick if they were to eat the bugs or inhale them. Of course, this is very rare, but it’s still worth mentioning.
Luckily, most beetles stay hidden during the day. This is because they prefer dark, quiet spaces to hide in. They are nocturnal and will only come out at night.
One common misconception about pantry pests that many people have is that these bugs would rather eat your food than anything else. The truth is quite different from this idea. These bugs will eat almost anything you leave out, and they need a lot of food in order to survive. They are also more likely to go for things that are already soft and crumbly. That’s why they love eating through packaging. They can get into the food quickly and easily, then survive off of it for a while.
